Who We Are

Our Church

Welcome! We are so honored that you chose to be here today. What a privilege it is for us to share the life-changing power of God’s love and grace with you. It is our desire to reach people who want more in their relationship with God, and help them to experience a greater understanding of His acceptance, His approval and their perfection in Christ. Our mission is “To Know Him, and Make Him Known”.

Faith Fellowship is a place in which you can become truly connected. A place where you can make a difference in the lives of those around you. A place that can set you on a path for spiritual growth, and know your heavenly Father in a deeper way. Faith Fellowship is a place where you will find more in your relationship with God. Where you will find rest in the finished work of the cross.

What We Believe

Although our methods of communicating the truths of God's Word vary from time to time, our message remains unchanged. As you read these statements of faith, I hope you will be encouraged by the tenets we hold near and dear at Faith Fellowship Ministries.

The Bible is the Word and the will of God.

There is one true Godhead comprised of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit - all co-equal and co-eternal.

Mankind's only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

The total salvation of mankind: Through the shed blood of Jesus Christ through faith, providing both salvation and healing.  The inward evidence to the believer is by the witness of the Holy Spirit: the outer evidence to others is a life of holiness and love.

Salvation is not by works, but faith in Jesus Christ, which in turn produces good works.

Water Baptism by immersion is a public witness in obedience to Christ's command.

The practice of the Lord's Supper is to commemorate His death until he returns.

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit empowers the believer for life and service.

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is evidenced by speaking in other tongues.

The Church is the Body of Christ. Spiritual, mental, physical and financial prosperity is made available by the New Birth.

The imminent return of Jesus Christ is to gather born-again believers to Himself.

Satan is the defeated enemy of God and His people.

Hell is Satan's abode as well as that of his demons and all who have not accepted the redemptive work of Jesus Christ.

The Millennial Reign of Jesus is with his believers.

Our Core Values

We value people and use every means possible to impact their lives for Christ.

We value the unlimited power of the word of God - we believe it, teach it, pray it and speak it.

We value providing ways for people to connect and enjoy the company of others.

We value excellence because we serve an excellent God.

We value over the top giving of our time, talents, and resources.

We value total prosperity for every area of life.

Pastor Joe and Natalie

Pastor Joe Fortunato is a long time resident of New Jersey, born and raised in Metuchen.  He committed his life to the Lord in 1979 at a Catholic Charismatic Prayer Meeting in Stubenville, Ohio.  In 1984, he visited Faith Fellowship Ministries World Outreach Center (FFMWOC), now in Sayreville, NJ, where he became a member and served faithfully in various areas of ministry for almost 20 years, as well as on Crusade Teams to Haiti, Trinidad, St. Maarten and Jamaica.  He especially enjoyed organizing outreaches to the local community and ministering to the addicted through Victory in Jesus.  Rev. Fortunato is also a graduate of the Advanced Christian Training School at FFMWOC.  In 1992, he was ordained as a licensed minister by his pastor, Dr. David T. Demola, and became a minister on staff in 1998, and remains vitally connected to FFMWOC.  He not only teaches at their Faith International Training School, ministering to men and women of God from all over the world, he was also appointed by Dr. Demola to serve on the Apostolic Team through Covenant Ministries International (CMI), reaching out to local and international pastors and ministers.  CMI is also the covering ministry to which Faith Fellowship Ministries is ethically, spiritually, and morally accountable.

In 2002, Dr. Demola sent Pastor Joe to Southern New Jersey to oversee a church in Mullica Hill.  That same year, he and his wife, Natalie, and their two children later moved to Mullica Hill, and held their first service in the Harrison Township Elementary School gymnasium.

In 2004, they purchased a building in Sewell, New Jersey, where the church remained for nine years.  In 2013, it was time to move and make room for the South Jersey Dream Center (SJDC), an outreach of Faith Fellowship Ministries that’s about breaking the cycle of poverty in people’s lives and restoring dignity.  With a couple more stops along the way, the church is currently meeting in the Thorofare Fire Hall, but this is not it...a permanent site for the church and the South Jersey Dream Center is closer than ever!

In 2016, Pastor Joe enrolled in Charis Bible College Continuing Education for Ministers Program, an outreach of Andrew Wommack Ministries, and graduated from the two year program at the beginning of 2018.  In March, 2018 he began a weekly Charis Bible Studies that is currently operating and thriving.  In August, 2018, Pastor Joe enrolled in the World Outreach Global Training School at Charis Bible College in Woodland Park, CO, and graduated in May, 2019. In October, 2019 he began a nine month Charis Bible College Internship in Ann Arbor, Michigan (read about his amazing journey to Charis here).

Pastor Joe has a genuine passion to see lives changed and the lost saved through the power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.  He believes that God has an amazing plan for every person, filled with health, abundance, hope and victory.  His purpose in life is to share God's unconditional love, grace, and the goodness of God, both in word and deed, everywhere he goes and to every person he meets.

Natalie Fortunato accepted Jesus as her Savior at FFMWOC in 1983 and also served faithfully as a volunteer and a member on staff for almost 20 years, including as the Executive Secretary to Pastor David and Diane Demola.  She too is a graduate of the Advanced Christian Training School, and an ordained minister.  Her greatest love after Jesus, is her husband, pastor and friend... she considers it a great privilege to serve side by side with Pastor Joe in the ministry.  Natalie adores their two children and thoroughly enjoys spending time together as a family.  As the Executive Director of the South Jersey Dream Center, she does what she loves, organizing, creating, planning, putting the mission of the SJDC into action, and inspiring others to realize their greatest potential.   There are few things more gratifying to her than to work with a fanatical group of believers energized to see lives changed through the power of Jesus Christ.
