Just before His crucifixion, the Lord shared a last meal with His disciples in connection with the Passover. Since that time, the church celebrates the Lord's Supper as a sign of the New Covenant sealed by Christ's death and resurrection. The communion elements are symbolic of the spilled blood and broken body of Christ according to 1 Corinthians 11:23-26. Every week, we worship the Lord in Communion.
Once a year we serve up some good old fashioned spaghetti and meatballs, family style, just to get together and have fun. That's it, to simply enjoy the company of others and some great food. More details...

Through our partnership with the Food Bank of South Jersey and the generosity of our community, and faithful church family, it is our desire to eliminate hunger in Southern New Jersey. Our pantry provides food to families once a month who are in a temporary emergency situation, or who fall a little short of food at the end of the month. The Food Pantry is held on the third Tuesday of each month at the National Park Fire Hall at 523 Hessian Avenue in National Park, NJ from 12-2:00pm. All are welcome from the neighboring towns as well. Two proofs of residence and one proof of income is all that is required. For full details, go to the South Jersey Dream Center site.
