Become a Christian

Choosing to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior is the most important decision you’ll ever make!

God’s Word promises, “If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation…. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Rom. 10:9–10,13).

By His grace, God has already done everything to provide salvation. Your part is simply to believe and receive.

Pray out loud, Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Savior. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!

The very moment you commit your life to Jesus Christ, the truth of His Word instantly comes to pass in your spirit. Now that you’re born again, there’s a brand-new you!

Please contact us and let us know that you’ve prayed to receive Jesus as your Savior. We would like to rejoice with you and help you understand more fully what has taken place in your life. We’d like to send you some helpful information about your new life in Christ.  We also invite you to The New You class at 9:00 a.m. on the first Sunday of every month before service at the Thorofare Fire Hall.  The New You is for new believers who want to understand more about what happened when they received Jesus as their Savior.  Scroll down on this page to sign up for upcoming class.

I Am a New Christian

You become a Christian when you make the decision to receive Jesus Christ as your Savior. And after you receive Him, God begins to change you into a brand-new creation.  We shouldn’t be making up religious rules to live by, like having to read our Bible every single day; nor should we do whatever we want to because we know we’re going to heaven when we die.  Christianity is about living a vibrant, exciting life in Christ, and it goes hand in hand with developing a personal relationship with Him. Jesus wants us to be in love with Him.  God wants to be involved in everything we do. He wants us to fellowship with Him, which means communicating with Him throughout our day just like we do with someone who’s our close friend or family member.  Knowing God loves us, loving Him, spending time with Him, and being grateful for what He’s done and is doing in our lives can help us have a real relationship with Him.

Having a relationship with other believers and getting planted in a Bible based church is also very important to developing your new walk with the Lord. Not only so that you can grow and mature from the teaching of the Word, but also so that you can be a blessing to others with the God given gifts and talents that make you special (1 Corinthians 12:27).  If you do not have a church home, we welcome you to be a part of our family here at Faith Fellowship Ministries.
