We're Here for You

Life isn’t meant to be lived alone. Our church is here to help you through the best of times and the most challenging times. Here are some of the ways we are here for you...

Prayer Requests
At Faith Fellowship Ministries, we believe in the power of prayer. We want to pray with you, and for you, that God will touch your life in a mighty way.

Bereavement
The church provides comfort and support to those who are grieving the loss of a loved one. If an immediate family member dies, please let us know as soon as possible, especially if you would like Pastor Joe to lead a funeral service.

Child Dedication
Parents desiring to dedicate their child(ren) to the Lord are invited to our Child Dedication Class, and to participate in a Child Dedication ceremony conducted by the pastor during a designated service. This is similar but not quite the same as a Baptism or a Christening. This is a dedication that parents make to God, of themselves, to provide a godly environment to rear their children, to instruct their children in the things of God, to allow Him access to their children so that His Word can be sown in their hearts as in good ground.

Communion
Just before His crucifixion, the Lord shared a last meal with His disciples in connection with the Passover.  Since that time, the church celebrates the Lord's Supper as a sign of the New Covenant sealed by Christ's death and resurrection.  The communion elements, the bread and wine, are symbolic of the body of Christ that was broken for our wholeness and healing, and the blood of Jesus that was spilled for our total forgiveness of sin, past, present and future (1 Corinthians 11:23-26).  Jesus said that as often as you do this, to remember Him and the power of His resurrection.  We celebrate communion every Sunday at Faith Fellowship Ministries, everyone is welcome, no one is disqualified to join us.  For a more detailed understanding of communion, listen here to Pastor Joe's powerful teaching called Get the Table Ready.

Counseling
Though Pastor Joe believes that most of his counsel comes from the Word of God being taught from the pulpit, there are times in all of our lives that we need someone to walk us through a difficult situation. Counseling is never conducted individually with members of the opposite gender, and is always based on scripture.  Pastor Joe and Natalie have received training and are certified counselors through the Sarasota Academy of Christian Counseling.  We enjoy sharing the Word of God, and seeing lives changed, as described in John 10:10, Jesus came that we "might have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance, to the full, till it overflows" (Amplified Bible).

Hospital Visitation
If you or someone you know requires hospitalization, whether it be an emergency or an extended stay, it would be our privilege to come and visit, and share the Word of God and pray. A loving and compassionate person from our church will spend a little time with you, or your friend or your family member.

House Blessing
When God blesses you with a new home or a place to live, we want to rejoice and celebrate with you.  We want to dedicate your new home to the Lord as holy ground, and speak a blessing over your home.  We will set up a date for someone to come to your home to anoint it with oil and pray with you and your family.

South Jersey Dream Center
The South Jersey Dream Center is a non-profit organization that's about breaking the cycle of poverty in people’s lives.  We focus on restoring dignity to the individual by providing services around meeting basic needs, such as food, clothing, baby and household items, as well as through professional, personal and spiritual development.

With over 160,000 people in south Jersey living below poverty, our goal is to develop people to reach their full potential, to help them go from dependency to self-sufficiency, and to supply hope for a brighter tomorrow.  For full details, visit to the South Jersey Dream Center site.

Water Baptism
Several times throughout the year, the church will schedule a Water Baptism for people of all ages.  The baptism is always preceded by a brief instruction of what it means to be immersed in water and be baptized according to Romans 6:3-6 and Acts 2:38-39. We encourage you to invite your friends and family to come and watch when you take part in this life changing experience. It’s always a joyous celebration of God’s goodness.  A parent or guardian must accompany a minor.

Weddings
God recognizes the marriage between a man and a woman as a binding and sacred covenant. Our hope is that all weddings performed will be followed by strong marriages, able to withstand any circumstances that would attempt to destroy such a powerful union.  In order for us to accommodate you in preparation for one of the most special days of your life, some practical guidelines and conditions must be met, which are covered  prior to enrolling for pre-marital classes.
